Photovoltaic panels capture the sun’s energy using photovoltaic cells which covert the sunlight into electricity which can then be used to run household appliances and lighting.
Even if you are using the electricity that you have generated, if your system is eligible, the Governments Feed-In Tariffs will pay you for the electricity you generate. If you are producing more electricity than your household requires, you are entitled to sell the surplus back to the National Grid. That means that you can be paid for both the electricity you generate and use, and what you don’t use and export to the grid. If your home needs more electricity than you are generating yourself, the extra will be taken from the National Grid as normal.
Photovoltaic panels doesn’t need a lot of maintaining. The panels should just be kept relatively clean and out of the shadows of surrounding trees. Panels that are tilted at 15% or more will have the benefit of being cleaned by rainfall. Solar electricity is green, renewable energy and wont release any Carbon Dioxide or other pollutants. You will not only be generating clean, green electricity for your own use, you could be paid for doing so, and paid for the excess you produce and sell to back to the National Grid.
If you decide that you wish to proceed with installing our Photovoltaic Panel System, you will be able to book a time that is convenient for you. Scaffolding will need to be erected by our Independent Approved Scaffolders. Our own MCS Approved and Accredited Installation Team will install the panels to your roof, then the system will be fully commissioned and inspected for MCS registration which is then weathered by our roofers to ensure that your roof is still weather proof before before the scaffolding is to be removed.
The installation when complete will be tested to the latest 17th edition wiring regulations and all relevant ELECSA certification will be completed, we will then remove scaffolding knowing your new system is working correctly and that you are happy with installation, we will make on going checks to make sure you new Photovoltaic panels is working to its optiminuim performance.
